Baby Bryce

Well Baby Christopher Bryce Pea is finally here...Born at 10:28pm on March 7, 2012.  Weighing in at 6lbs.15 oz. and 19 in. in length...He was a week early, his due date was March 13, 2012.  Early or not we are very glad it is over.
Tabetha is getting impatient, as are the rest of us.  Waiting is the hardest part.  Had to schedule a C-section after being in labor all day with no progress.
and Daniel was ready for what was to come.  Daniel was the only one that was aloud in the delivery room since it was a C-section.  I was a little upset that things weren't going as plan, But everything went well.

Baby Bryce is here...and there were alot of people waiting to see him.  I think the most proudest person was Alden...He could wait to see his new baby cousin...smiling from ear to ear and touching him and giving kisses when he could.
Grandma Sandy was there and had her turn to hold baby Bryce...She said she had been there all day and wasn't going home until it was over...She stayed at the hospital with us the entire time...
Then it was my turn to hold my new Grandbaby...I really didn't want to let him go, but I had to...After a long day of frustration and being impatient it was worth the wait...He is beautiful and I am very proud of Tabetha and Daniel.

Well until next time, hope all is well and be safe in your journeys:)

Mardi Gras pageant

It was time for yet another pageant. We had a van load this time. Ashlynn, Jazmynn, and Alden. Then it was me and Candace, Karen and Aunt Patsy went with us this time. It was Jazmynn's first pageant to be in. Aunt Patsy hadn't really got to see Ashlynn on stage, so this time she went and got to see both girls on stage...

Not really sure what these 3 are up too.

Before the big events they must get their energy by sharing and eating chicken Mcnuggets. Yes they are still in their pj's.

Are you kidding me...These girls do know how to dress up and look their best when they want to. Miss Ashlynn does know how to smile and she does have a beautiful smile...
Jazmynn wasn't sure about it all, this is her first pageant. She looked amazing.
Jazmynn was so cute in her Mardi Gras outfit. Just showin her stuff...
Ashlynn really rocked the stage with her Mardi Gras outfit. Which was designed by Candace and myself...and the winner!!!
She was all over that stage...
Ashlynn had to show off her winning for the day and she did quite well... 2 tropheys and 2 crowns, to add to her collect...

All 3 were very quiet on the way home...LOL
Alden was a big trooper through all the pageant stuff. Even helped out a little.
Until next time, hope all is well and be safe in your journeys...

SuperBowl Pageant

Two days before the pageant and we are highlighting our hair... Ashlynn had PINK strips in her hair and that was not pageant material. So we just made a girl afternoon of it and she got such a big kick out of it. She said we both looking funny (which we did)...

Ashlynn thought she was just the beauty queen already with her scarf on. She wanted it to hide her beautiful curls.
Just sitting around the waiting/dressing room. Ashlynn woke in a good mood and was ready to go. We got her hair curled and she wasn't feeling so good.
She wasn't feeling well all day long. She would get dressed and then just sit there in a daze.
But when she got on stage, she showed them what she had and she knocked them out... Sick or not she had a smile on her face.
She really wasn't feeling it here. I didn't think she was gonna go up on stage.
But the little girl got up there and showed her stuff. Smile and all. This is her outfit of choice (optional). Little black dress with a sequin covered skirt and a top hat to match.

It was Super Bowl/Football Theme, So she dressed up in a little colts outfits.
All the trophies for the days events. There was even a little boy in this pageant and he also got a crown.
Ashlynn being crowned Miss Beauty Queen. She also received a trophy and a participation plaque for being in the optional category.
Even though she wasn't feeling well she did a great job.
Well until next time, Hope all is well and be safe in your journeys!

Bryce Baby Shower

It was Tabetha's baby shower time. It was held at her house and the turn out was great.
Special Thank You to Tandy Moffitt for throwing the party for Tabetha. This is Daniel's sister who lives in Brownsburg.

Daniel's Aunt Sue Dicus was there. It was really nice to meet her in person.
We played some very fun and interesting games...These bags spell out BABY BRYCE and you had to guess what was in the bag and it started with the letter that on the front of the bag. Very cute
After games it was time for cake and refreshments... The cake was so cute and very well done in spite of the little mishap that happened. The cake was set up and left to sit for about an hour. When they returned to the kitchen the cake was falling. Patty was so upset, but you know things like this happen and they happen to the best. Another Special Thank you goes out to Patty Brewster Boothe for making such a wonderful cake again!!!
Patty is the one in the blue shirt and she is the one who did the cakes.
This little group of ladies are Daniel's Aunt Tammi, Aunt Sue, Aunt Anna, Cousin Mandy and her baby daughter.
Here we have Tabetha's cousin Corrine and Sarah (Cori's daughter), Aunt Teri and Aunt Stacey.
Friends of Tabetha's Racheal, Kari, Abbey, and Bethany. The little baby in front is Abbey's daughter.

Even the little girls had fun. Makenzie, Ashlynn, Sarah, and Jazmine are trying out the refreshments.
After refreshment was time for fun. The girls decorated this Blanket for Bryce. They could put whatever they wanted on a square. They did such a good job and it kept them busy for a long while.
Time to open all the baby gifts... She got everything from little outfits to blankets, bibs, diaper genie, jumpy seats, bath supplies, toys and everything in between.
This is the blanket the Candace made for her, and it has a little pillow to go with it.
Tabetha would open one gift and someone was giving her another, seemed like they were never ending.
Now only if it was time to have this baby that would be great... Baby Bryce is due March 13, 2012.
Well Until next time I hope all is well and be safe in your journeys:)

December has begun...

December has begun...
The town of Cumberland had a light/decorations contest. The judging was on December 2 and they would announce the winner on December 3, during the 1st annual tree lighting ceremony.
Mr Santa Claus (aka Candace)
and Mrs. Claus (aka me) stopped by to help us out. Waving at every car and truck that went by. Not knowing who the judges were or what they would be driving. Santa was even dancing in the street..

We decorated the house, front and side. The judging was from 6-8:00pm... needless to say we froze out butts off sitting and standing out there for 2 hours, waving at everyone.

This is the house that beat us in the contest. After the tree lighting ceremony we all went back to the house where Santa was going to come visit. Candace left and took off down the street to try and find Santa and while she was away he showed up.

The dog was even sitting on Santa's lap...not sure what he asked for, but I can bet there were some yummy dog treats on his wish list.

Mamaw and Papaw sat on Santa's lap.

Brian even sat on Santa's lap.

Aunt Pasty was there, you know she wouldn't miss all the excitement.

Karen and the girls had their turn.

Alden wasn't too sure about Santa...But he told Santa that he wanted a chain saw for Christmas.

Jeremy put in his wish list for Santa also.

Ashlynn wasn't shy, she jumped right up there and told him everything she wanted for Christmas, mainly Justin Beiber stuff and new babies.

Not sure what Jazmine asked for, she spoke in such a soft voice that only Santa could hear.

Then came Adrian...by the looks of this picture I'd say Santa let him know that he's been watching and he really needs to be a little nicer toward his little brother and sister.

It was time for Santa to leave and Adrian and Ashlynn were going to help him up. Santa reminded all the little kids to be good and to be in bed by 8:00pm on Christmas Eve (like that is going to happen, not). Told them that he would be keeping a close eye on them...

We really had a good time doing all the decorating, but wished we could have won. There were only 6 places that had signed up for the contest, so we figured we had a good chance...oh well there is always next year...

Well until next time...Hope all is well and be safe in your journeys...:)
