WooHoo!!! Got new carpet. Landlords called at 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon and told me that we were getting new carpet on Monday at 8:30am. I had to move all my furniture out of both rooms. I was so tired and frustrated at the end of the day. I have lived in this house for 21-22 years and this is the first time I've had anything new, especially carpet.
On Monday morning at 8:30am the guys were here. I was going to be very mad if they weren't here on time. Short notice, but I kicked butt and got it all moved. The guys putting down the carpet were nice and were found on Craig's List. My landlords are slow about doing stuff for us. As long as we get the rent paid on time they don't care about anything else. Well, I am starting a list of things that need to be down around here. The apartment next door to us has been empty since July 2010. It was a mess and they took their time about cleaning it up. In February of 2011 they finally started cleaning it out and remodeling everything. I told them I could use new carpet, since they were redoing the carpet next door. I finally got it!
Ashlynn went home with Aunt Patsy on Sunday, after Adrian's baseball game. On Wednesday she came to stay with mamaw for a few days. It was sort of a surprize cause Ashlynn didn't even know that she was staying with me. We really had a good time, watching the CMT awards, she has Bieber Fever. Eating popcorn, playin games like Connect 4 and Battleship (she cheats).Well Until next time, hope all is well and be safe in your journeys...
