Fun Weekend

Oh what a fun weekend we had.  On Thursday we got 4-6 inches of snow.  The kids were in school, but when they got out Jeremy didn't waste any time in getting his snow gear on and headed out the door.  Scott took him down to Paul Ruster Park.  They have a big hill there.  There wasn't a delay in school, but they did let out early.  I think Jeremy said around 1:30.   Something happened on the bus, a fight broke out and someone wasn't listening, so the bus driver called for security and they had to wait for an hour for no security to show up.  She went about her route.  They were only 2 blocks from our house and Jeremy still got home at regular time.  She wouldn't let anyone off the bus until the situation was under control.

Saturday, Candace/Brian and the Kids came over.  The kids had so much fun out in the snow.  Jeremy wasn't here when they got here.  Aunt Lisa had taken him and DeAndre to Paul Ruster, along with a couple other boys.  But when Jeremy did get home they were outside most of the time.
Ashlynn went out for awhile, but came back in cold.  Just look at those cheeks.

Us adults played cards, but we had to go buy cards first.   I didn't even have a deck laying around,  like I usually do.  But anyways, Me and Candace were on teams and Brian and Scott were on teams.  Girls lost 2 games to 1.  We really suck at playing Eukcer.   We haven't played cards in a long time.   Scott had put on a bunch of Ribs in the slow cooker, with BBQ sauce, they were really good.

Alden went out for a while before they got ready to leave to go home.  Brian took him out.   He loved it, didn't want to come in and take his coat off to warm up.  LOL neither did Brian.   His cheeks were as red as his gloves.
Adrian and Jeremy were too busy building their snow fort for me to get their pictures.  Jeremy went to Adrian's to spend the night, so they could build Adrian a snow fort.  He was suppose to stay a couple weeks ago, but something came up and he didn't get to stay and Adrian has been calling Mamaw, just about every other day asking if Jeremy could come over to his house and stay.   I told him maybe this weekend.   I told Jeremy he couldn't let Adrian down again, since it already happened once before.  Adrian was so excited, but I think Ashlynn was more excited then Adrian.  Alden didn't care at this point.  He just didn't want his stuff off and wanted to go back out, but he only had tennis shoes on.
