Colts to Super Bowl

We had a good time.  Candace/Brian came over and we played some cards and of course the girls got beat again.

The kids played outside most of the time, cause it wasn't freezing out.  I think it got to 50 today, but we are expecting snow for the rest of the week.

Alden was mad cause he couldn't go out and play.  He was sick, coughing and didn't need out. We had the door open so he could look outside. I have a stool that all the kids use to look out.

Then he was trying to ride Ashlynns scooter in the house, ramping the step between the kitchen and living room.  He is soooo funny, gotta LOVE him.

Another Sunday full of football. The Colts played the Jets and Colts won. We are going to the SUPER BOWL. 30-17. What a score, and I even watched some of the game this time.  Hey and Brian got to see the end of this game.  The Last 3 games they have come over and left before game was over and Brian had to listen to it in the Van on the way home.  Well this time he got to see the whole game.

We had the Wedding Shower this past Saturday.  It was at Tabetha's house, and Candace was the Party giver.   Alot of girls showed up.  I was very happy it all turned out really well.  Every one seemed to have a good time.  Chattin with each other, even from different sides of the family.  We played games, ate snacks, and Cake, opened gifts.  Had a really fun time.  Even the little girls, ages 3 - 10, were having fun.  We had made wedding direction signs and had the little ones decorate the signs for us.  Just a little Arts and Crafts and all 6 signs were beautiful.  Thank you girls for doing such a wonderful job.  Thank You Candace for throwing a wonderful party and Thank you to all Tabetha's family and new family to be and friends who attended the party.

Well until next time, hope all is well.

Updates

WEll here's a few updates for ya. This past Saturday, January 16th was Scott's birthday. It was also the first playoff game for the Colts. The kids came over and we just watched the game and played cards for awhile. Alden got here early. He had spent a few days with Aunt Patsy and she was running some errands and dropped him off here. Candace/Brian would be here around 2:00. That's ok though, he had us laughing so hard. Papaw had him running around the kitchen table yelling pow pow pow. Then they were sort of sharing chips. The ones that papaw would want Alden would eat. It was the cheetos in the Munchies Mix. Alden kept trying to give him pretzels instead. That kids did not take a nap all day and kept going until he couldn't go anymore. Aunt Patsy said he was up at 5:30am. and fell asleep between the farm and my house, which is about 15-20 min. He finally fell asleep around 10:30pm sitting up. Yes sitting up. He knew if he laid down it was all over, and he wasn't ready to give up just yet. He was walking with his eyes closed half the time. Tabetha's bridal shower is this coming Saturday, January 23rd. Candace is throwing the shower for her(sisters). She's had alot of replies for the shower as well as the Wedding. Only 5 weeks to go. Scott (father of bride) finally went and got measured for his tux. I think they are just waiting on Daniels dad, Dan, and his brother, which is stationed in California on a ship, he is in the service. But everything else is coming along just fine. I think.  So until next time, hope all is well.

Fun Weekend

Oh what a fun weekend we had.  On Thursday we got 4-6 inches of snow.  The kids were in school, but when they got out Jeremy didn't waste any time in getting his snow gear on and headed out the door.  Scott took him down to Paul Ruster Park.  They have a big hill there.  There wasn't a delay in school, but they did let out early.  I think Jeremy said around 1:30.   Something happened on the bus, a fight broke out and someone wasn't listening, so the bus driver called for security and they had to wait for an hour for no security to show up.  She went about her route.  They were only 2 blocks from our house and Jeremy still got home at regular time.  She wouldn't let anyone off the bus until the situation was under control.

Saturday, Candace/Brian and the Kids came over.  The kids had so much fun out in the snow.  Jeremy wasn't here when they got here.  Aunt Lisa had taken him and DeAndre to Paul Ruster, along with a couple other boys.  But when Jeremy did get home they were outside most of the time.
Ashlynn went out for awhile, but came back in cold.  Just look at those cheeks.

Us adults played cards, but we had to go buy cards first.   I didn't even have a deck laying around,  like I usually do.  But anyways, Me and Candace were on teams and Brian and Scott were on teams.  Girls lost 2 games to 1.  We really suck at playing Eukcer.   We haven't played cards in a long time.   Scott had put on a bunch of Ribs in the slow cooker, with BBQ sauce, they were really good.

Alden went out for a while before they got ready to leave to go home.  Brian took him out.   He loved it, didn't want to come in and take his coat off to warm up.  LOL neither did Brian.   His cheeks were as red as his gloves.
Adrian and Jeremy were too busy building their snow fort for me to get their pictures.  Jeremy went to Adrian's to spend the night, so they could build Adrian a snow fort.  He was suppose to stay a couple weeks ago, but something came up and he didn't get to stay and Adrian has been calling Mamaw, just about every other day asking if Jeremy could come over to his house and stay.   I told him maybe this weekend.   I told Jeremy he couldn't let Adrian down again, since it already happened once before.  Adrian was so excited, but I think Ashlynn was more excited then Adrian.  Alden didn't care at this point.  He just didn't want his stuff off and wanted to go back out, but he only had tennis shoes on.

Back to Normal

Yeah right...  I don't think I know what normal is.  Now that Christmas and New Years is over, we are now focusing on the wedding and Scott's birthday is the 16th of January.  Not sure what we are doing for birthday, probably nothing.  The wedding is coming along I guess.  I got the bird seed done and we have mailed out Shower and Wedding Invitations.  I sat at Tabetha's last Sunday and addressed every envelope.  It took us about 5 hours to do the whole process.  She was printing out invitations, rsvp, and directions.  I hand wrote every envelope myself.  At first it was hard, cause Max kept coming up to me and wanting me to play or get his treats out of some bottle.  I was sitting on the floor, where I was comfortable writing.  The Max calmed down, but was farting all the time and they really do stink.  Buy anyways, that is about all that has been happening around here lately.  We are suppose to go and getting Scott fitted for Tux, they finally picked out what the men were wearing.  Nothing like waiting till the last minute.  Us girls have had our dresses since Thanksgiving or before.  And we still have to get Jeremy and Adrian outfits, other than that we are doing okay, I think, I guess.

Well resolved the washer mess.  I got a new one.  And dryer.  Bought them off Daniels dad, Dan.  Well they aren't exactly new, but new to me and they work really good too.  I am now doing laundry again. LOL.  I was having to spin the damn thing manually to get it started and then it wouldn't spin fast enough.   Then it would have to be put on spin cycle 4-5 times before it was ready to go in dryer.  It was really making me mad too.

We until we meet again. Have and Safe and Happy Year...
