Don't know if you know, but here in the little town of Cumberland we are under construction. Road Construction that is. They are widening the road and putting in trees on both sides and down the middle. It's suppose to take 2 years to do. I'll be glad when it's all done. The beeping of them backing up and banging on the pavement to break it up, big equipment and dump trucks. I really hate the dust, I am cleaning all the time.
It was a productive weekend. Cleaning
Saturday - We went out for breakfast and then hit a couple garage sales, really didn't find anything. I took apart Tabetha's desk (the one I was using) and put it in the barn. Then had to reassemble mine. Mine is the one I had before, it's alright, a little small, but it'll have to do. I literly put a couple new screws in each the boards (and my finger) to make it sturdier. I stripped an redid the outside of my file cabinets. Not the inside just yet, not in the mood and there is too much of it junk. I now have my desk space back in order. I think, until I change my mine again.
Sunday - I made breakfast this morning. Then started my cleaning up from the mess yesterday. Redone the middle bedroom, well put a book shelf up there and reorganized that room. This is the room my desk came from.
Jeremy has been trying to make a sk8 board ramp. Well today he took the one he had and cut it in half. Took one half and cut the sides off, so the plywood would bend, then we made braces for it. I only got drilled in the finger once today. It turned out pretty cool. Homer just stood back and laughed at us. He did let us use his tools, nor did he yell at us. We had a good time making it and it works, that all that counts.
