It's been awhile...

Yeah, I know it's been awhile since my last blog. Well here it goes.

There really hasn't been a whole lot going on. Went out to Candace/Brian and picked up a tow trailor so I could get some washer/dryers out of my basement. Brian and Chad hauled the machines out of the basement for me. There were 8 machines and 1 refrigerator. Brian even found $25.15 in change in the bottom of a couple dryers. He found it, he cleaned it out and I let him keep it. We took everything to a recycling place and got some money for it. I gave the money to Brian and Chad, since they were the ones who hauled it upstairs out of the basement and unloaded it at the dump. I would have had to pay someone else to do, so why not them. Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

Scott got to go to the Bristol Tennessee Race last weekend. A buddy of his had tickets and he really couldn't pass it up. They left around 12:30am on Friday and got down there in time to see qualifying. The had tickets for all 3 days. They camped out at Thundervally camp ground. Said the bus driver Mary was really nice and I guess she really knows her stuff and how to drive around the track area. I was getting phone calls about 3 times a day, "what are you doin?" Sittin at the track, it's awesome. I guess it rained on Sunday during the race and they had a few delays, but nothing drastic. They got back home around 3:00am on Monday. Needless to say they didn't do anything but lay around. Had to recuperate.

Everyone came over this past Saturday. Candace/Brian and Kids and Chad, Tabetha and Max, then Richard and Lou and baby Tristan came down. We played Catch Phrase. Had a blast. At first Richard didn't want to play, then he didn't want to stop. It was Tabetha's game and she left it here for us to continue playing.
OOOHHHH!!!Wedding pictures.
Of course this is Tabetha and Daniel saying their vows.
Me and Scott with Tabetha.
The girls bridal party. We all looked so gorgeous.
Jeremy is not really into kissing, but Tabetha got him anyways.
Alden and Tabetha during the Dollar Dance. He wanted to dance with you and me all night.
This was our photographer. Can't forget her., Thank you so much Patty, you did a great job.
Until next time hope all is well. I will post more frequently, sorry about the delay in info.

Something New

St. Patricks Day and I hope ya'll got your green on, cause if not HERES A PINCH FOR YOU.
Well, you wanted something new, I don't have anything new. The wedding was the last highlight of our lives so far. Everyone is doing just fine and dandy. I am addicted to Farmville on Facebook. So if you on there and want to add me as a friend or neighbor just give me a holler.

I am so glad the warmer weather is finally arriving here in Indiana. I love the heat of the sun, can't stand being cold all the time, which I am. The sun was shinning today and it got up to 64 degrees. I'm an 80 degree weather person.

Scott gets to go to Bristol, TN this weekend. Got ticket from a buddy of his at work. Going to Nascar race. I always wanted to go to Bristol for a race, but I also hear it deafing. I really don't think I'd like it too much, rather watch it on TV. Which that is something I really haven't done this year is watch a race. I haven't got my interest in it yet this year. My favorite last year was Dale Earnhardt Jr., but we all know he hasn't done well in the past couple of years. My man this year is whoever wins the race, except for that #24, really don't like him, but Scott does. That is his favorite driver. Not sure what me and Jeremy are going to do this weekend. Probably nothing. Suppose to get the basement cleared out somewhat. All the washers and dryers I have down there, Brian is going to clear it out for me. He is so nice, and I hope he can get his brother Scott to help. Thanks in advance for all the hard work.

Well until next time I hope all is well.

It's been A Week

Well, it's been a whole week since the wedding. Tabetha and Daniel are due back late tonight. Candace and Brian and the Kids will be heading back home tomorrow. Can't wait to see everyone again. Although they called me everyday this week. Just to let me know what they were doin and to tell me about the WEATHER. They have had great weather in both places. Candace and Brian went to Florida, it's been in the 60's there (which is better than us). Tabetha and Daniel went to Aruba, it has been is the upper 80's, Tabetha said it wasn't really hot because there is a breeze all the time. Do they all have an awakening when they get back home. It has been just above freezing here, snow on the ground and more flurries are predicted. But no GREAT SNOW STORM. Just cold!

The only thing happening around here is nothing. Jeremy had his 15th birthday on Thursday. I took him to his favorite resturant, which is McDonald's and Scott got him a New BB rifle, with BB's. Candace and Brian got him a couple t-shirts, and camo stool, camo tape and some targets for the BB's they shot all the time. They like to shoot at the black birds when they land on the bird feeders. Don't like Black Birds.

Well until next time, hope all is well and be safe...

Quiet time again

Well everything has settled down and is now quiet around here. It has been a very stressful and fun filled time this past couple weeks and days.
The wedding is done and they, Tabetha and Daniel have gone to ARUBA.

I went over to let Max out for a walk and he was so excited to see me.
Daniel's dad is taking care of Max while they are gone. She called me around 2:00p.m our time on Monday. They had landed and was just get ready to go to hotel and explore what was in store for them. Bet the weather is nice too. Later that evening, Tabetha called again, it was around 9:00pm. (our time-they are 1 hour ahead of us). She said the room was really nice and they went to a resturant and ordered the usual for them. Hamburgers, salads and drinks, which would probably consist of a beer and water/lemon. The bill came to almost $70.00 WOW!!! Good thing it was an all inclusive trip. Tabetha said they would be broke by the second day. But they are having fun and that is all that counts.

I also talked with Candace and Brian. They are in Webster Florida for the week. Visiting Brian's mom and grandmother and of course little Jasmine, which I dearly miss and love. Candace kept calling me on their way down there to give me the weather update. She said they didn't see any SNOW after they left my house. It was like 60 degrees in Louisville Kentucky. She also had Brian call, to let me know that she, Candace herself drove through Atlanta Georgia. She doesn't drive very well to begin with and it was dark and late. I think she was just rubbing it in. They were all going to the ZOO today. Hope they had fun.
Well until next time, hope all is well.
P.S. Hope Grandpa Mike is feeling better. He had a Bad tooth infection during this past weekend.

Hope Everyone has a nice trip, cause when you get back wont be so nice. LOL

The Big Wedding Day

Well, since we really didn't get any sleep can't tell you what time we started this day. We had a rough night, but we got up and started this beautiful day. We had to run to Walmart and get the Brides Tiara and some black socks for the boys. The pastor last night told that for 24 hours, we had to be at the Bride and Grooms beckon call. Whatever they wanted or needed, we had to do or get for them. It was funny cause in Walmart Ashlynn was put in the cart and Tabetha wanted in too. We told her to get in, but she didn't. That would have been too funny. I took the girls to Breakfast at the Waffle House, me and Ashlynn shared a plate and the girls ate whatever they got. Our waitress was nice. We were on a schedule and had to be on our way. Got our hair done at the Cuttin Loose hair design. Tabetha's beautician. The girls did a really good job on all of us. Within a couple hours we went from blah to gorgeous.
After the hair salon we were on our way to the Church, we are on schedule and maybe a little bit early and Tabetha decides to make a pit stop at Mike's Car Wash to get the truck washed. I went into panic mode, thinking this was going to take forever, but it didn't.
Once at the church we all got dressed and took pictures. Thank You Patty for the photoshoots, it was really fun and had a great time. While waiting we got a little band together. These two may have been trouble when they were little, they still haven't changed. Candace plays the Marocca's and Tabetha is on the Bongo Drums and the little girls waas on the tamborine and triangle, we had Adrian on the organ. It was not a pretty sound. We were ready early and had alot of waiting to do. No one seemed nervous or anything. Until the it was almost time and I guess I wasn't looking to good. I started getting nervous about 4:30 pm. The wedding was to start at 4:44pm. Which it did. It was really hard keeping the bride and groom from seeing each other. Us girls were going around standing in hallways and blocking windows. it was hilarous.

The ceremony was great and really didn't last that long, even though it sure seemed like it did. Tabetha said it was like a blurr to her, cause she couldn't really see what was going on and didn't get to see everyone until she was walking in and down that isle.
After the Wedding ceremony we went to the reception site, which was located the Southern Dunes Country Club. It also was a beautiful site.
After a delicious dinner the cake wass cut and the instead of sharing their peice of cake with each other they shared it with Candace and Travis (Maid of honor and Best Man). What a surprise that was. Thank you Mira and Randy for the beautiful cake topper.

We did alot of dancing and drinking. Music and the atmophere were great. Everyone had a good time.
I think the kids had the best time on the dance floor. Although there were a few of us that got out there and danced, alot, maybe too much. OMG the hula hoop dance contest. Daniel had everyone beat, until I stepped in and did two at once. Sorry Daniel, I didn't even know I could do that.

Bride finally at the Bar to get a Drink and she finally gets to sit down for a rest.

THE WHOLE DAY WAS JUST GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, and ELEGANT. Fun was had by everyone who attended. Now the Tabetha and Daniel are on their way to ARUBA for a week. Congrats to you both and best Wishes.
My little baby girl has grown up and become a woman, now she is married and about to start a new journey in her life.
P.S. sorry about the dark pictures. Camera wasn't working right and was in the hands of the kids.
Until next time hope all is well and safe.

Wedding preparations

On February 19th, Friday we started our day.
First we decorated the reception site, which was at the Southern Dunes Country/Golf Club. We were to meet Candace and Tabetha there at 2:30pm. Well at 2:45 the girls show up. I know she will make it on time tomorrow, I'll be with her. I had to make a schedule out and we had things to do. It was so beautiful on the outside. We had luminars lining the staircase. The tables were all decked out in Bright Pink and Navy Blue napkins, we sat candy kisses in front of each napkin, tall Vases with the flower of the day and a floating candle made an elegant setting. Special thanks goes to Grandma Sandy for all the flower arrangements that were used in the Ceremony and reception. Grandma out did herself this time. Nothing but great compliments about everything.
Then it was off to the Church to decorate and rehersal. We sat at the church for almost an hour and half cause we got done early at the other place. We were all really getting tired and cranky. But once we were inside everything went smoothly.
Then we were off the Golden Coral and Thank you goes out to Dan Pea for the rehersal dinner, it was lovely and everyone had a good time. Tabetha and Daniel passed out gifts after dinner. All the boys got dog tags to wear, flower girls got little jewlery boxes, the big girls got bath lotions, by the name of Sweat PEA, we also got a braclet to wear in the wedding if we chose to. I DID. Grandma Sandy received a what I would call a Magic Stick fragrancer, (which I really want one) and special magnet which explains why grandma's are special and a wind chime in the color of the flowers, just a little reminder not to plant that color if you are tired of looking at it. Although it is a beautiful color.
After the day is finally finished we can now go home or on our ways. It had been a very tiring day. I spent the night with Tabetha. Candace and Ashlynn also spent the night. It was a rough night let me tell you. Ashlynn was not feeling good and wining for daddy in her sleep about every 30 mins or so. We slept on the couch and then on the floor. Tabetha took Max with her to bed around 11:00pm. I could hear Max barking and her telling him to shutup and go to sleep. He finally did. I started trying to find channel 13 on the television and couldn't do it. It took me 2 hours to figure the remote out. (of course if was dark and I can't read small print). I was getting frustrated.
