Fathers Day

Father's Day was interesting. Tabetha/Daniel took their dads SKYDIVING!!! Scott said he would do it again. I guess no one was really scared, they loved it. Daddy didn't stop talking about it all day.

Not much has been going on around here. Baseball for the kids. Now All Star for Adrian. More baseball competitions. He loves his baseball.

This is his whole team. They finished 2nd in their division. The coach is taking them all the the Indian's Game on June 26th,
June 23, is Adrian's 7th Birthday. We are going to have the party at the Plainfield waterpark. Never been there, they say it's really nice. I guess a few of his baseball buddies are coming.
Jeremy has been skating all the time. Don't really see him much anymore, always gone. June 21st is Go Skate Day, all day. He is getting such a smart mouth on him. 15 years old going on 50.

Until next time hope all is well...

Lazy Day

Not doin nothin today. Relaxing and gettin myself back in order. Had baseball yesterday. Won't do that again. I had to go to both games today. Started at 10:00am with Ashlynn's game and then back home did some planting of flowers and off the Adrians game, which starts at 2:00pm. Brian had a tree job to do in Greenwood and dropped Candace and the kids off at the ball diamond. I had to go so they would have a way home and back to game. It was a long day. My ears were hurting fron the wind blowing at Ashlynn's game and then at Adrian's game we played a team that likes to CHEAT! Even though we won, it isn't fair rules. I was so frustrated all day long. Candace even tried to give me her medication to calm down.
We went to Tabetha/Daniel's for a cookout. Hamburgers, Brauts, Hotdogs, Chips, Fruit, Cookies. The only thing everyone was missing was the Mustard, Relish, Onion, Mayo, Pickles. Tab/Dan don't usually eat these things so they don't buy them. I don't blame them. It was very good food though. The hamburgers were almost a half inch thick and done all the way through.

We were going to play cornhole but it was raining. The kids played the Washer game, which Scott bought. They loved it and yes it is a little hard. Sure hope that isn't the end of the cornhole cause I am still making bags. I'm also making specialty bags. They are cool.
Oh Scott project of the boardwalk, well it's done. Been done for a couple weeks now and it really looks good.
He's so proud of his boardwalk. Says it makes for easier grillin. LOL
We let the girls out to play the other day and they jut layed there watching this little squirrle. Sneakers tried to get it a couple times, but after a while the squirrle found out that Sneakers could only go so far. That little thing just sat there and ate away. Like HaHa you can't get me. What a tease.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Mother's Day was great. Sun was shinning and we had a cookout at Candace/Brian's. Steaks and I had Crab Legs. That was the best dinner I had all week. I love Crab Legs. Candace tried to keep it a secrete, but I figured it out when she tried to call Scott to see how much I would eat. I told her about 2.5 -3 lbs. She just laughed. I ate all of it, at least all that I didn't share. Yes I shared my Crab Legs with Tabetha and Candace. Ashlynn tried it, but really didn't like it too much. None of the guys wanted any. They all had Steaks and those also looked really good.
I also got a new sewing machine. I am now ready to make Cornhole Bags. Which I started on as soon as I got home from Candace's. I am a sewing fool now. Cornhole Bags are $25-30.oo a set. I have all colors also. First sets are going to my daughters and their husbands for such a great Mothers Day. Thank you again, all of you for such a great day.

We had so much fun. After dinner we threw some cornhole and Scott got all 4 bags in at once, and I think he did it more than once. Keep Practicing guys. Even went fishing. The kids love to fish. You catch one everytime. I even got into the act and showed them how it was done. I used shirmp and caught 8 fish within half hour. They just kept saying she caught another one.

It was fun. That is my fish.

Check this out. You are always a kid and this should prove it. Candace/Tabetha are on the glider of the swing set. Too funny to pass up this photo opt.

Date Night

Jeremy had his first real date tonight. It is the 8th grade dance at school. He took his girlfriend Tyla. They looked so cute together. Her mom took them. I took the picture before it took me 15 minutes to pin their corsages on. They had match red dusty roses w/babys breath. (Left over from Tabetha/Daniel's wedding). After the dance they went to McDonalds. He was home around 9:30pm. Said he had a really good time.
Games were canceled last weekend so they had makeup game on Wednesday. Then Adrain had a Ball game on Thursday. He did really good. Still think he's the best one on the team. Although this kid named Carter did an outstanding job this game. Candace and I actually got to watch the whole game. Usually we are between games when they have to play at the same time. Both, Adrain and Ashlynn have games on Saturday. They got me a Cubs shirt for Mothers day. I got it early so I could wear it to the games.

Broke Toe

We didn't have baseball today due to the storms that went/going through our area. I was awoken around 3:30am with thunder and craklin lightening. The cats are scared of storms. I couldn't find Sneakers for about half hour and then when we thought it might be over, no it starts in again and Snuggles runs under the bed in other room.

No baseball, but they still came over to visit. It's like the weekend thing to do, come bug mamaw and papaw. Gotta Love'm and yes we do love'm.

I think I broke my toe. I was trying to take a small red hammer away from Alden and ran into the damn chair. OMG did/does it hurt. Tabetha nursed it up for me. Thought it was really funny. Just look what she did to me. It's the one next to the pinky toe.

Alden was trying to tie her up with the cat harness. It took him forever to get it latched.

and Ashlynn of course got to home with Aunt Tabi. She loves her Aunt Tabi. Adrian was mad though cause he didn't get to stay this time or last time. But I guess he gets to play a game when they get home and that was alright with him.
Well all is quiet again, but I know it will only be for a little while. We'll just have to see what tomorrow brings (hopefully sunshine and no rain).

Next Projects

Starting another project. He has good ideas, but it just takes so long for him to imagine , design, create and then build. But with what, only the best and has to be done right.
This was where the little rocks were and the bottom of the back porch (right in front of the grill). He now wants a boardwalk. I just let him go, gets him out of the house and he's not bothering me. It took a whole week to build cornhole boards, anyone wanna guess on how long this project will take. He just started this 4/30/2010.

Jeremy is out skateboarding with friends. He is always gone until it gets dark. Then it's time for mom to know where he's at. Can't watch his every move, but I'm trying and it's really hard. He's 15 yrs old now. He does what he wants most of the time, until he wants something then he has to work for it. Like a new skateboard. Scott had him sand and stain the boards for the New Boardwalk. Jeremy sanded an old skateboard down and got some new grip tape for it and it looks just like new.

This is Ashlynn and Alden in the backyard. They were actually being good and sharing. Bubbles always does the trick.

Can you believe this thing is real. It's a set of Catus that Candace got Scott for fathers day last yr. It had a fake flower on top of this little one and I thought it was a fake Catus. Well guess again. It has a new blooming flower on it. He's waters it everytime he waters the rest. It never got any bigger, guess we need to transplant them.
Well the kids have baseball tomorrow. Ashlynn at 10am and Adrian at 2pm. It suppose to rain though, so it might get rained out. I know last Saturday was a lllloooonnnnngggg day. Guess I'd better start drinking before the games. LOL Just kidding, I don't drink, much. LOL.

Cornhole Boards Done

Well look at this, the Cornhole Boards are DONE! And how long did it take him, let's not say.

He started these last Thursday (4/22/2010) and after a week they are finally done. Just need to put myself to work at make some new bags.
My dad was up from Georgia last Thursday also. He doesn't come up much. Didn't even come to Tabetha/Daniel's wedding, said it was suppose to snow. WELL IT DIDN'T! I didn't even know he was coming up here, until word of mouth got around. Shelia, was watching her grandkid for a week, while her son went on vacation and my dad was going to help my sister paint her new house. But the closing didn't go though and she is still looking.
Haven't really done much this week, it's been chilly and rainy. Today wasn't so bad though, think it got up in the 70's.

Had the cats outside on their leashes the other day and Scott decides that the birds needed some food. Not a good idea while the girls are outside. Had to buy new leashes cause Sneakers took off after a bird and came to a dead stop. She couldn't go as far as she wanted to. They sit in the windows and watch everything that is going on outside. I love my babies.

This is a picture of the moon last night (4/28/2010). It was really neat looking and just thought I'd share it with you all.
