Concerts Galore

We went to the TobeyKeith/Trace Adkins concert.

JoAnn had never been to a concert of any sort, so Candace thought it would be nice to take her to one... Girls Night Out!!! We got stuck in the back seat, which was alright, cause we had access to the trunk. We did bring a little achaule with us and we were just testing it...LOL Little swig of apple pucker never hurt no one...

Once we got there we had a drink and went up to some Ford truck and sang Kareoke "Who's your Daddy". It was just going to be Candace and Tabetha singing, but ended up dragging me and JoAnn up there too...It was great, got FREE Tobey Keith t-shirt.

This is our little tailgate party bar...It was the trunk of Tabetha's car...we were really not out for getting drunk tonight, just to have a good time.

We met up with Candace's Uncle Mike and Aunt Darla and their son, while we were waiting for the gates to open... they sent their son ahead to the gate, to save place in line so we could get good lawn seats.

There was guys walking around asking for tickets. Do you know that Mike and these guys started talking about things and the next thing we know we see ASSES. Yeah bare asses (not at all cute either) they had thier asses tattooed with Wolves. There were five guys in this pack but we only got a glimps at 2 of them...

Ashlynn went to her first concert...Her first Girls Night Out...She went to Justin Beiber concert with Candace and Tabetha. She has all his T-Shirts and now she has him on her ass... She is like really crazy over this kid. Knows every song he's sings word from word.
Are you kidding me...got the hair done, nails done, got the shades on listening to Justin Beiber cruising down the road with my private chouffer...(Tabetha and her New car)
Waiting for Justin to come on stage with Mom (Candace) and Aunt Tabbi.

Finally hitting the stage and she is all over it... and it was nothing else to Ashlynn. She had such a good time, signing and waving and yelling at the top of her lungs...

Even the ride home was Justin Beiber... her eyes are closed but she is still singing.

Well until next time, hopefully it wont be such a long time before my next post... take care...

Something New!!!

Tabetha got a new car...It is a Pontiac GT 8...
She had to stop and get gas before she could drive it home. She said it was sitting on EMPTY...

I had to follow her home cause she didn't have a license plate. But she did have the receipt from the bank and the title. We just didn't want to get pulled over. Cause believe me she is a fast driver to begin with and now she'll be even faster. Now all she needs is new plates and transfer insurance and she can drive legally...
It is Black exterior and Black interior with seat trimming in Red. Power everything, even Heated seats in the front. Has ON STAR and it actually works, they hit the button on accident. But I guess that is one way of finding out. There are so many gadgets in this car it'll take her awhile to figure out where everything is.
Well until next time, hope all is well and safe...

Tristans Birthday now

Party time for Tristan...
This is Lujuanna. She has 3 boys Robby (21), Richie (18) and now Tristan (1). She is a close neighbor and friend of mine. Robby is in the military, Richie not sure what he does, nothing at this time. Although he did the cooking on the grill, or at least he cooked his and ate then took off. We just had hamburgers and hot dogs, bake beans, green beans, pasta salad, and devil eggs, and of course the cake.

Tristan turned a 1 yr old. Lou had a party for him with all the trimmings. The cake was Winnie the Pooh and was made from cupcakes.
This is Lujuanna's mom, Tristan's grandma. She spoils him rotten (But doesn't all grandma's).

He really loved the cupcakes. Candace gave him a chocolate one and a vanilla one. He ate (smeared) the icing off the tops and didn't really want the cupcake itself (typical for a kid).
Well until next time, hope all is well and safe...

Lazy Saturday

The grandkids were here on Saturday. Adrian had an AllStar tournament and they won there first game, Thanks to Adrian. He caught the last popfly out and won the game with a 1 point lead.
Ashlynn thought she was going to play Euker with us, but didn't happen. This girl has to be doing something all the time and into everything she's not suppose to be in, but gotta LOVE her. I gave her and Alden some paper and they were fine. We drew pictures and made paper airplanes. Papaw made one and I made one, mine went the furthest and flew the best. But they were content for awhile, at least while we played cards for a bit. I think we play 3 games. It was girls against the guys and the guys won 2 games and we were done with that. The kids wanted to go outside.
After the breeze started blowing and I got cold sitting inside (cause of air conditioner). Alden was trying to fix the umbrella to the table. The crank on it had broken off and we are using a lock wrench to crank it. He was actually sitting on the table. Never did get it fixed. He found a hammer and started working on the deck (which did not need fixin). This boy is very distructive and the expressions on his face are priceless.

Papaw gave Alden some wood to bang on. He was getting so excited cause he was splitting the wood. Then the bigger boys came out and had to try too. They each got a hammer and we had a hammer of every size. Heavy for Jeremy, medium for Adrian and light for Alden.
I have been trying to get a pic of Adrian from when he fell into the firepit, while we were camping. It has healed alot, but think it may leave a scar. The burns on his arms were gone, but still had a place on his right hand.

Papaw watered the flowers and his little garden this evening. He puts MiracleGro on them.
While he was watering the rest of us were sitting on picnic tables chatting and watching the boys hammer the wood. We were chattin about BEER Bellies, and just then papaw turned around and said "Huh, what?" Like we were talking about him or something. But it was prefect timing.
Well until next time, hope all is well and safe...

Happy Birthday Again!!!

It was Brian and Ashlynn's Birthday this weekend. Brian is 26 years old and Ashlynn is now 5 years old.

Guess what and where we went?

Yeah we went camping at St. Paul Cliffs. Located in St. Paul Indiana. None of us had been camping for quite awhile. It was a last minute thing too. Tabetha/Daniel had some camping gear (they went one other time, last yr), Candace/Brian bought a little 2 man Jr. Tent (Jeremy slept in it alone). We borrowed another tent, sleeping bags lantern and a table from Richard and Lujuana. Thanks alot guys. Really appreciate it. LOL
I built the fire. It was a damn good one too, with what little wood we had. And finding twigs around wasn't easy. I got it going though and it worked for Hamburgers and hotdogs at supper time. Which was after 7pm cause the kids swam all day. Then we made smores and marshmellows.

Every took a break from swimming to eat some lunch.

Adrian even was jumping. He went from the 20-30 ft cliff, right off the 40-50 ft cliff and off the side on a ZipLine. He loved it. Not scared of anything. Adrian got burnt later in the evening. He fell into the firepit and hit the rim. Burnt line on his stomach and then a few places on his arms, but the worst was his right hand. He did get a blister on it and he was worried about baseball, says he's the best one on the team, what are they going to do.

Everyone had a really good time. Swimming and floating and of course jumping.
Alden didn't do any jumping. We were lucky to get him in the water. Brian had to throw him in. He just wanted to float around with somebody, not alone. He preferred the biggest raft.
Even Ashlynn went off the 20-30 ft cliff. Yes she was scared at first, but at least she did it. After that Tyla said she couldn't let a 5 yr old show her up, so Tyla jumped too.

They played Volley Ball down by the beach area. It was Candace/Jeremy/Tyla on one side and on the other was Brian/Adrian/Tabetha. Not sure what the scores were. While they played, Ashlynn was building a sand Castle. She didn't care as long as they didn't hit her with the ball (and they were using a beach ball, no volley ball).
Alden got a piggy back ride on the way back to campsite. He got a booboo on his foot. Kept sounding
like a horse. Heeeee, Heeeeee. LOL.
Then it was onto Football out front of the fire pit.
And of course there was Cornhole.

The girls thought they would be funny and tell Alden to go tell daddy Happy Birthday and then smear cake in his face. Well it backfired and they were the ones who got the cake in the face.

They swam on Sunday for awhile and then ate some lunch and started taking down the rest of our camp stuff. The kids had a really good time and Candace said they were all asleep before they even hit the highway.
I was never so glad to leave a place like I wanted to from this place. Everything was cool after we got all the tents and everything set up and the kids went to go swim. But later on in the evening there were some drunks down the way from us. They were up til 4am. drinking and cursing at each other. Yelling at the top of their lungs. Very Vulgar language. I came out of my tent around 2:30am and they had radio up loud, they were fighting and arguing. Something about a gun was brought up. Tents were being taken down and vehicles speeding off. So around 3am me and Candace finally walked down to the office to report them. We even woke up Tabetha, so we could use her phone to call the place we were at. They weren't anywhere to be found up at the office and no one was answering the phone. We were warned of them before we set up camp. But this was ridiculous. I did not sleep at all, all night long. After the owner of the place finally came to talk to me about the situation, he told me that he would take care of us. I was thinking maybe give our money back. We left before we had a chance to talk. I won't be going back there anytime soon.
Until next time, hope all is well. Keep in touch.

Happy Birthday!!!

We spent the 4th of July at Candace and Brian's house. It was Candace's birthday and we celebrated at their house this year. Which was different, cause it's always at our house. It was very nice to have it somewhere else for a change. Candace turned 28 years old today.
Everyone was there, Aunt Patsy, Big Joe, Joey, Tabetha and Daniel, Me and Papaw, Jeremy and he took his girlfriend Tyla and all of Candace and Brians crew.
We had a cookout, which almost caught the whole place on fire. The grill was smoking so bad, but it all turned out good. Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Brats, Corn on the cob, Baked Beans, Mac and cheese, Watermelon, Flag cake and Flag cupcakes, veggies, chips and dip, Cheese Ball and crackers. We had it all and it all was very good.

We played volley ball, papaw tried to play with one hand. He had a beer in the other and wasn't going to put it down.

Everyone was playing Cornhole. I even had Adrian as a partner, and he's pretty good. We didn't do too bad, but we didn't win either. Daniel and Brian were on a team and they were beating everyone.

Fishing. Catfish weren't biting as much today, but the bluegills were everywhere and the kids were catching one every time they threw their line in the water. Aunt Patsy spotted a snake in the pond and Brian got it out and chopped off it's head. It was really gross. The snake was about 3 1/2 feet long.
The fireworks show was fantastic. All of us pitched in and got as much fireworks as we could afford and the show was great. We had all sort of them. But they were loud. The guys lit them off across the pond. It was a long day, but we all had fun and there were no fights and no one got hurt this time. Usually someone gets hurt or there is a big augment, but not this time, everyone behaved. We didn't get home until almost around midnight.
So Until next time, hope all is well and be safe.
