Cookout at Candace/Brian's house on Saturday. She was having another yard sale for the little Miss Indiana Supreme Beauty Queen Ashlynn. Her next pageant is in St. Louis Missouri sometime in July...Miss Ashlynn will be representing Indiana in this Pageant, it's a National Pageant. The day was really nice weather wise. We had hamburgers and hotdogs, baked beans, corn on the cob (which we forgot to fix), and my homemade Potato Salad. Although it wasn't really a cookout, we started the grill and it ran out of gas so I ended up cooking on the stove, and called it a cookin. Played volleyball, girls against the guys. I didn't play the first game, but then Tabetha had to leave and I had to take her place. We spent the day in Brownsburg and didn't get home until around 8:00 pm.
Sunday was the Indianapolis 500. Scott wasn't feeling well (wonder why). Candace and the kids came over and we tried to have another cookout. Yeah tried, I started my grill to get it heated up. NO gas, had to cook chicken in the oven, but it turned out alright. We just had left overs from Candace's cookin. Chicken, Baked beans, corn on the cob (Alden helped me shuck the corn), and more potato salad.
Monday-Memorial Day, was very quiet. Jeremy had a Veterans Service to attend for the ROTC at school. He had to be at school at 7:30am and was done around 12:00pm. Tabetha came over for a few hours, and we went to Walgreen's and Meijers. Daniel went riding on his bike with his dad. We actually had a Cookout. We found another tank on another grill so Scott exchanged it and we were go to go. Hamburgers, more corn on the cob, baked beans and potato salad. Even had a watermelon. It was all good. Always taste better on the grill.
Well until next time, hope all is well and be safe in your journeys:)
