Baseball Season has begun

Well the Baseball Season has begun for Adrian and the Cubs.

There was a Parade at the beginning of the day. All the teams were suppose to show up but didn't.

Ashlynn got to be like the Grand Marshall of the Parade. She was all decked out in her Miss Indiana Supreme Beauty Queen sash and crown. The crown is twice the size of her head. It is big and that is what she is going for, something bigger...
She took a picture with both teams today, to show her support and service for her pageants. It's like community service/volunteering.
The boys/team did a really good job today also. Won their second game of the season. Even though it was opening day for the field, due to it was rained out and flooded. Teams played on Friday to make up for what they had missed. Adrian likes playing any position you give, but prefers 1st or 3rd base and pitchers helper. Team really needs to pay attention to what is going on on the field and stop playing around in the dugout. They may sit for a second, but that's all it last is a second. They all do their best out there though...

Well Until next time, Hope all is well and be safe in your journeys.

Easter Weekend

On Saturday I had an appointment in Greenfield, so I stopped by my moms house. She had been/was spring cleaning and had some stuff for me to take home for a garage sale (Ashlynn's National Pageant Donation). I told them I would be back to get the stuff after the appointment.

Appointment didn't take long, cause they were closed due to the Easter Holiday. Well why didn't they tell me that when they set the appointment. Anyways I went back to moms, (a little pissed off) I found out that Candace and Brian were on there way. They were putting mulch down around the flowers beds. Adrian and Alden rode with Candace and they got there early. Only because she was suppose to wait on Brian at the BP in Brownsburg. Guess she got her gas and left. The guys were waiting on her, then decided to leave.

So the boys decided it was enough time to play for awhile!

Ashlynn rode in the truck with the guys. Candace said her ride was quiet this time. Ashlynn wanted to know if someone was going to take a picture, cause she was helping an old lady and it was part of her service. She has to do community service for her pageants.LOL

When the mulch truck got there everyone was trying to help.

On Sunday, here we go we are on our way to Tabetha and Daniel's house for Easter dinner. I had to change the batteries in the camera and didn't know that it took this picture of us, but oh well. Tabetha has made this her holiday for cooking. She has been doing the Easter Dinner for I think 3 years now. And we always have fun...

Tabetha made Ham, mac/cheese, corn, rolls, salad, and meatballs for subs. Danial doesn't like ham so he made a meatball subs. Everything really looked and tasted good.

She even baked cookies and a cake that she made into a bunny. It was so cute.

I think they are ready to eat. They couldn't hunt for the eggs until they eat their dinner
They all had to line up at the front door to start the egg hunt...Had to hide them indoors this year due to the weather. They were all over the house and some in plain view. Tabetha said she didn't really know how many there was, cause she lost count. At least they were plastic and filled with candy instead of a hard boiled egg that could really get to sticking up the place.
Daniel held Adrian back so the other 2 could get a head start. I guess Adrian had been snooping, trying to look for the eggs.

Jeremy had to do a scavenger hunt instead. There were clues everywhere. He would read one clue and it would give him a hint as to where the next clue was. He was upstairs and downstairs so many times, it was funny.

There was a clue in the pantry, the upstairs, then in the refrigerator, then back upstairs. It took him awhile but he found every clue and got to the giant egg filled with candy and some money...Yeah!
Alden checking out what he got in the bag. Had all sorts of candy from the egg hunt.Adrian, picking through his stuff.

And Ashlynn had already went through hers and was working on other things, like her pageant. Wow even got Scott playing golf on the WII. He said it was different, but it was fun. He needs all the practice in golfing he can get.
Back home and relaxing after an exciting day. Had a really good time, thanks again Tabetha and Daniel for having all of us over.

Well until next time, hope all is well and be safe in your journeys!

Good yard cleaning day!

Well I was out and about today cleaning the yard. My hostas are coming up everywhere...:) I started in the back and sort of worked my way to the front. The weather was great, in the low 80's with gusty winds. The cats even went for a few hours today. Candace and Brian came by today, grandkids too and Adrain took the picture of me and Jazmynn cleaning up. Well she was more like playing in it. They were digging in the dirt and moving it from one planter to another. I have been coughing and sneezing all day and I hope it's not allergies. But whatever it is I hope it goes away soon. Alden finally got papaw off the couch and took him to the park. He always likes to go to the park and today was a great day for that.

Alden and Papaw walking hand-in-hand coming back from the park. We thought maybe he was tired, but no Alden had to go pee. Do you know that little monster came to the yard, Just whipped it right out and peed on my tree, right where everyone could see him if there were someone to drive or walk by. Guess he couldn't hold it long enough to make it to the bathroom and he was ready to go back to the park after that...
I wish we had weather like this all the time, except for the gusty wind. Can't wait til it get nice enough to put the indoor plants outside again.

Well until next time...Hope all is well and be safe in your journeys...

Jazmynn's Birthday Party

Well it was another fun time in Brownsburg with everyone. This trip was for Jazmynn's Birthday. She turned 3 on April 7, same day as Tabetha... We had gotten there a little early so Alden could have some fishin time with Papaw. The were having such a good time. After a while Alden came and tackled me while I was watching them try to fish. The didn't catch any fish, but at least they still had fun. Then it was time for the PARTY! Tabetha and Daniel were running alittle late with the cake. The theme of this party was Dora the Explorer. A Big THANK YOU goes out to Patty Brewster Boothe for making another beautiful and delicious cake. There was no cake left after this party...:) Jazmynn really like her cake, she was ready to eat it before she blew out the 3 little candles. Pin the treasure chest was the first game the kids played. They all had their chances, with blind folds on, spinning in circles they all hit the same spot. Even Tabetha had her turn at it. They all cheated, cause come to find out you could see out the bottom of the blind fold. When we went outside, Jazmynn took her Dora balloon with her and it somehow got loose and stuck in a very tall tree. She was really upset, so Uncle Chad got the chipper truck bucket and got the balloon out of the tree and he got a big hug for doing that for her. Ashlynn and Jazmynn were playing very contently in there little house. The rest of the gang decided to play some kickball. It was Girls against the boys. The girls were sort of out numbers by 1 and they even had Alden on their team. He was so cute trying to run those bases. He would go to first, half way to second and then straight home. Third base was not on his agenda. I want you to know Scott played with a drink in hand... He even ran with the damn thing. Not sure if it got spilt or not, but he wasn't letting go of that drink. I didn't play, I was the picture taker. After the party was over and everyone was winding down and relaxing on the back porch the kids decided they were going to play in the mud puddles. There were 3 puddles and they were first riding their bikes through them and then Miss Ashlynn (Miss Indiana Supreme Queen) decided she was going to run through it, which was okay until someone told her to sit down in it and she eventually layed in the mud puddle. I do believe it was Aunt Patsy that was telling her to do it. Oh well, you hear of people taking a mud bath that it is good for the skin. We arrived back home around 8:00pm. Were suppose to go to another birthday party but we didn't make it to that one, nor did we make it downtown to Tabetha's party at the Cadillac Ranch. That's okay though guess we had a fun filled day and was really wore out by the time we got home. Thanks again to Candace and Brian for inviting us out. Well until next time...Hope all is well and be safe in your journeys.
