New Years Eve and waiting on the Big New York City Time Square Crystle Ball count down. Really should have taken a nap earlier, cause I don't think any one of us is going to make it to midnight. I think Jeremy is sleep at this time, so maybe he'll wake up for the ball. I have been yawning for the past couple hours now so I know that I won't make it, at least I don't think so.
Been doing laundry all day, trying to get it done up. My washer doesn't want to spin right. I have to make it spin 3 -4x's before the clothes are not soaking wet still. I think, if there is a belt on it, it is loose or something. I really don't know, but it's driving me crazy. But it gets clothes clean.
I guess when we meet again it will be Next year, 2010. Happy New Year Everyone.
The unhelpful heritage vanishes. Not sure what it means but just go with it right now.

Colts lose
Colts lost their game today. We were undefeated until today. The guys were yelling at the coach for putting in some guy instead of Manning. Oh my, this is Scott in his colts hat, Candace/Brian got it for him for Christmas. Really looks good there Homer. LOL.
Grandpa Mike/Francis came over for a Christmas gathering.
.
Lisa/DeAndre were here, but Dano wasn't. But that's okay Dano. He had tickets to today's Colts game. I'd rather be at game too. LOL
Candace/Brian were here. Brian wanted to stay home, but Candace made him drive her cause she doesn't drive good in the snow. LOL Candace doesn't drive good in any weather. Thanks Brian for driving her. The kids looked cute buddled up in their snow outfits. They played out in that cold stuff for hours. I can remember doing that when I was kid, but now, I don't think so, no way.
We really had a good time. Watching the Colts game, eating munchies and Pizza from the Ordinary in Wannamaker. It's like a 10 pound pizza when everything is on it. One slice and that will do ya. Alot of laughs, especially the 2 girls. They were acting like they were 10 years old. But it was fun. Grandpa Mike handed out his gifts to the kids and one by one they opened their card and read it and showed what they received. That was very nice of Grandpa Mike/Francis, thank you.
It's quiet around here now. I think everyone has gone and the boys are asleep. Time to let this holiday sink in and start a new holiday. So until next time, hope all is well and Happy Holiday!

WOW - it's over
Christmas is over and the decorations are gone. Yeah you read right, I have taken it all down. I do it every year. The day after Christmas I take down all the decorations including the tree, except for the lights on the outside of the house. It's too cold right now to do that. It's time for the next holiday, which is NEW YEARS. Really don't have decoration for that, I just like having a clean house when the New Year arrives, that way it is clean all year long. LOL yeah right.
We got some snow today and it's suppose to snow again tonight into tomorrow. Jeremy is excited about that, cause him and Adrian can go snowboarding. Adrian got a snowboard for christmas and there wasn't any snow yesterday. Jeremy's been out riding his bike most of the day. Jumping the curbs and ramps that they just put in on Washington Street. He bought lunch for everyone today. See he got some money for Christmas and the fire in his pocket had to be put out. He had to spend something, somewhere, on anything. It started with Breakfast, Walmart, Meijer, Dollar Store or maybe even Speedway. We kept telling him no. We did give in and he bought lunch from Rally's. That was really nice of him to do that. Thank You.
Here is the cool blanket that I got for Christmas. It has different pictures of each of them, The Gervais Family. I am so proud of my babies. So that means I am proud of you too. I just thought this was the neatest thing, what a great idea/gift. Thank you very much. Where and How? I will find out if interested in blanket of your own.
Until next time, hope all is well and Happy Holidays to all.
Merry Christmas to All
Christmas Day and it is not a white one for us. 50 degrees and raining off and on. We did get flurries around 5:00pm. Temperture dropped all day.
We all got everything we asked for. Check out the bike Jeremy got. He also got an MP3 player, pants, BB Gun, Coat(which he had to have early), Candace/Brian got him a rail to grind on, Tabetha/Daniel got him paintball sessions for 10 people (Hope they all have fun, something I'm not doing). Scott go his LL Bean slippers, but he thought they were coming from Tabetha, cause Tabetha always buys exactly what he asks for, well not this time. She got him the LL Bean Shirt that he wanted, he also got a CarHart shirt, Candace/Brian got him Colts gear, which was really neat. I recieved a robe/slippers, which I really love cause I really needed a new one, cause I wear it all the time. Sweatpants, candles, this cute bird house.
Oh and a really neat blanket which I love. It's of the Gervais family. Different pictures of each of them on a blanket, ssssooooo cool.
The cats even receive gifts. They have enough toys now to last for awhile.
Tabetha/Daniel got Alden a Guitar. It was the first and last gift that child opened. The look on his face when he opened that guitar was priceless. He would let it out of his sight and if he heard someone playing it he would go over and nicely take it away and start playing it and rocking his head. He may be our next AMERICAN IDOL.
Miss Ashlynn got an Easy Bake Oven, I saved it for last and she opened it and said "mommy, just what I wanted, now I can make some cookies. She made us all a Christmas cake. Yellow cake with chocolate icing and we all had to have a bite. It was really good, even papaw was surprize it turned out so good. Adrian and Jeremy were off playing and really didn't see them much after opening the presents. Adrian got a PSP/games and they all got new BB guns.
Daniel/Tabetha. Daniel's allergies were attacking. He is allergic ot Cats and cigerrett smoke. Well I have 2 cats and Scott and I both smoke. We try not to smoke when Daniel comes over. But when it's cold outside and the house is closed up it's hard. Tabetha said that he had been like that earlier in the day, before they got to our house. LOL Yeah it was the thought of coming over here.
Another Christmas over, so we now have to begin again. So you better be good. Until next time, hope all is well. Merry Christmas..
Grandma Sandy's Christmas
I had a little time before I could bring something up from the basement. I have to wait until Jeremy is sleeping and I mean soundly sleeping. He likes to come down stairs for no reason at all, when we think he's been sleeping and he's really watching movie or something.
We went to Grandma Sandy's around 4:30pm. The guys were in such a hurry to get there. We were the first one's there this year, that's because my sister Stacey and her husband Jeff were in Florida and they are usually the first one's there. Tabetha/Daniel, Candace/Brian and the grand babies, my brother Donovan and his wife Teri were all there. Cori and her husband Tim and daughter Sara were not there this year (Cori is Donovan/Teri's daughter), it was the year they went to His parent house. They have to switch holidays each year, which is a good idea at times. Nor was Cole there(which is also Donovan/Teri's son). Cole had to work
We really had a good time. Ate alot and nibbled on alot, sat around and chatted and caught up on family news. Although the ones we only see once a year were not there this year. Grandma Sandy opened her gifts and then she passed out her gifts to the kids. They had been waiting all day for this. Thank You very much Grandma Sandy for every thing.Thursday, December 24, 2009
Christmas Eve
Well it's Christmas Eve, the day before Christmas. We have no snow, it is raining and it will be sleeting by the end of the day. So I guess we aren't going to have a white Christmas. But that's okay as long as everyone is well and Santa has an Umbrella.
Oh, I woke up this morning around 6:00a.m (as usual), Took an aspirin, due to I have a loose tooth and it is bother my. I may in time have them pulled. I only have 5 teeth on top and the one that is bothering my on top. Anyways, the cats were right there beside me. I went back up to bed, with a Pepsi in hand and layed there for a min. or two and then Sneakers decides to play for awhile. Well, this is what she did. Do you see the red spot on my eye. She, Sneakers, poked my in the eye with her paw. It really hurt and was watering for awhile. I didn't realize what she had done until I looked in the mirror. She really didn't mean to do it and even started lovin on me to say she was sorry. (Sneakers is the one on the left).
We are going to Grandma Sandy's tonight for Christmas. It is tradition to do so, I had gone to my Grandma's house on Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember, but she past away some years ago and we have been going to Grandma Sandy's (My mom) for Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas everyone comes over to our house. I will probably be making cookies today sometime, so we can leave them out for Santa. Yeah we still do that, even though all the little kids are gone and Jeremy is the only one left at home (he's 14 yrs old), but it's tradition to leave milk and cookies and a Pepsi for Santa. LOL He knows where the Rum is, LOL. Another tradition is I take my tree down the day after Christmas. Well this year will be no different. I will leave a few decoration up, due to we are having Christmas with Scott's dad on Sunday, while the Colts game is going on. But no worries we will have fun and enjoy the company.
Well until we meet again. Hope all is well, and Merry Christmas to all.

Only a Few more days
LOOK we have snow. I took these on Monday, but we got snow a little on Saturday even though it snowed all day long off and on, then a little more on Sunday. Jeremy was out in it all weekend. I went to the office on Monday and when I returned home Jeremy had been out all day again. Scott said he would come in warm up, get dry clothes on and back out he would go. Jeremy loves the snow, he's been snow boarding and wants so badly for it to snow about a foot so him and Adrian could snow board. Jeremy has a ramp made up out back. He goes off the slide onto a long stretch and then onto a ramp. He was going off the slide at the park.
Me at the office. Would you look at the Pointsetta there. It is the hugest thing I've ever saw. It is 5x's my head. I took goodies in today. Brownies with marshmallow fluff/candy cane sprinkles, brownies with walnuts, chocolate and peanut butter fudge. I had to make the fudge on Friday, due to it was not raining or snowing. I can not make fudge if it's raining or snowing out. If the sun is out then I can make it. Don't know why, it's just always been that way for me. Turns out chewy if not made right.
By the way Santa is watching you, so you better be good for goodness sakes. I've had a phone call from the Gervais family several times in the past week. Miss Ashlynn isn't wanting to be good and go to sleep at night. I guess she is a bit anxious. I can't wait to see them grandbabies. Haven't seen them awhile, at least two weeks. Scott was wondering when they would be coming over, he misses them too. Says he likes when they come to visit, and he likes it when they leave, cause they can always come back.
Well until we meet agian. Hope all is well and have a Happy Holiday.

One Week Til Christmas
The past week really went by fast, sort of. I worked at the office for a little while each day, that paid off.
Been busy trying to get Christmas shopping done. Getting a little here and there. Did a lot of it online, which I do love doing. Cause everyone knows that I do not like to shop. All I have to do now is get the gift certificates that I want/need and then I'll be done. Do ya know what is funny though. Scott thinks he's getting slippers from Tabetha. Cause Tabetha always buys exactly what he tells her to get. LOL One more week and I guess we'll all find out .
Scott and I went shopping today for something, with Tabetha. I had to pick up a check from her so I was just going to go shop with her. Well, Homer decided he wanted to go to, said we might stop somewhere for lunch. Food is all he thinks about. He is not a shopper. Tabetha and I wanted to look for some other things and she wanted to grocery shop as well. We didn't get to do that. We went in got what we went for and left. Tabetha had fun though (can't really tell how/why, cause it would give it away). We did stop on the way home at McDonald's on US 52 for a quick lunch. I had to take Homer back home, I still wanted to shop at a couple different stores and get what I needed/wanted, without him starring at me funny, like let's go or something. He is very, very impatient. It also happened last weekend, when we went out shopping, and only went to one store. He picked the register and then the lady in front of us had something that was half off and not ringing up right. We waited in that line for 20 mins. before we went to another register. I had to take him back home that day too.
Jeremy is out of school for two weeks now. Today was he last day before the winter/Christmas break. They go back on January 4, 2010.
Caught Scott and Sneakers playing today. Check this out. It is an old fly swatter that has big eyes and arms. Jeremy made it when he was in Kindergarten or first grade. I kept it hanging on the side of the refrigerator.
Well the girls are tired and so am I. Until next time hope all is well and Wish you all a Happy Holiday.

The Grandkids were here
It was a usual Saturday around here. I did go to Penske Chevrolet and got my oil change and brake fluid full and everything checked out. Donovan did it for me, he works there and all the people whom I dealt with were really nice. Not sure how long special is running, but if anyone is interested, $9.95 oil change coupon at http://penskechevy.com/. Click on Service tab and it's under Service Specials(Location is Indianapolis, IN).
Candace and Brian stopped by for a few tonight. It was around 7:30p.m. when they came in. They had went to Greenfield to see Candace's Aunt Brenda and Uncle Gary. Brenda and Gary live in Hazard Kentucky and they don't come up very much. I was surprised to hear that they were here.

Adrian said hi, where's Jeremy? and he was off upstairs. I could here him coming up the stairs outside. I knew someone was here. He like coming over to play with Jeremy and they usually end up playing ARMY.
Alden was carried in and when he saw me he got the biggest smile on his face. I was very surprised to see them today. He likes to come and see papaw. He is getting so big and heavy. (Alden not papaw, although papaw is getting big and heavy too) LOL.
Ashlynn, well she got her hair cut and she really looks so cute. It is out of her eyes and easy to take care of. It's like a bobcut I think.
They kept trying to get the kittens, but the kittens were not letting them. Ashlynn was teasing and trying her best to catch one, She would try and sneak up on them, turn around and tell us sssshhhhhh. At one point I saw her crawling out from under the tree. I was so afraid that the tree was going to fall while she was under there, and the kittens haven't even messed with the tree. Then Candace finally did get sneakers and sneakers didn't want no part of anything. I got her to calm down so the Alden could pet her. The expression that Alden makes when something happens or he gets excited about something. He is really one of a kind.
Ashlynn took some pictures while she was here, as she always seems to find my camera. She will take random pictures of anything. She took the pictures of Adrian and Alden also.
Later in the evening after Candace and Brian got back home, Candace called and said that she wanted her money back and that I should come and pick up Ashlynn's gifts. She was telling Ashlynn that she was calling Santa Claus if Ashlynn didn't go to bed. I guess she ran back into bed after hearing what Candace was saying on the phone. It was funny, I use to do that too, only I don't think I ever dialed and called a real person, I usually just had to pick up the phone and pretend I was dialing. LOL
Well it's late and until next time, I hope all is well and wish you all a Happy Holiday.

New Job
I got a new Job. I get leads for Tabetha at State Farm. This was my second day and it went well. I just call people and offer them a free quote, if they agree I then transfer them to Tabetha, who then writes the quote and hopes that they will join The State Farm Company. I met the other girls yesterday and they are nice. I also met Kyle and his girlfriend and are also nice. His girlfriend had a little puppy, which was sick, and she was the cutest little thing. I worked only 2 hrs yesterday, but today I worked 3.5. Made a lot of calls with no answers, some would answer only they were already with State Farm, or they were happy with the company that they are with now. They were always nice people to talk to. I did although feel a little bad today about one call that I made. I was calling a gentleman and his wife(widow) answered the phone, when I asked for the gentleman she ask who and what was I calling for. I explained to her and she then told me that Mr. So-n-so had been DEAD for 3 years and she hung up on me. I really didn't know what to say or do about that situation. Maybe she should have had life insurance on him. LOL
I was going to tell you about my kittens. They are doing just fine. Running and playing around. It's funny, they have play times set. I have noticed this week that they do certain things at certain times of the day. It all starts at 6:00a.m. when the alarm goes off and I awake to find both of them next to me sleeping. We get Jeremy up and downstairs for breakfast. Fix Jeremy's, then fix kittens. When it's time for the school bus around 7:00 Jeremy will go to the door and open it sneakers will run straight to the back of the door and wait. From then, they will lay day and take it easy for awhile then the playing starts in around 8:30 til around 11:00. They will take another break for a couple hours, then around 3:00 they will start in again. They eat dinner around 5:00 and play for awhile then chill out. When I get ready for bed I'll gather them up. Snuggles gets in my arms and Sneakers likes to ride on my shoulders. And she'll will stay there until I lean over and let her own. We walk up stairs, turn off Jeremy's TV and then to bed. They of course take off as soon as I let them down, and they are playing and running around upstairs. BUT they are always right there beside me in the morning.
Well until next time, hope all is well...

Frigid Weather
The weather here is frigid. The wind is blowing 40-50 miles per hour and snow, that isn't sticking. Today started out being like 51 degrees at 7:00 a.m. and ended up being 21 degrees by 7:00 p.m. Jeremy is really looking forward to the snow. He wants to use his snowboard. Gonna see if he can break his neck on snowboard since he couldn't do it with the sk8 board or the bike over the summer. He is very active and brave with what he does. It scares me sometimes.
Well I start my new JOB tomorrow. I'm a little excited about it. Haven't worked since March, no fault on my part. Anyways, moving on and learning new trades. Thank you Tabetha for giving me a chance.
My babies are doing fine today. They have been running and play around like nothing happened to them. I did give them their pain medication this morning as instructed by Vet. They have to take another dose tomorrow morning and then they will be done. I really can't stop them from playing. Not sure if getting them fixed is suppose to calm them down and make them fat. At this point they are not calm and they are not fat yet(I am working on that). They act the same as before.
Did a little more shopping today. I'm trying to get this Christmas shopping done with. Only have maybe a few more things to get. I really HATE shopping. I like to know what I am going after and where it is. I love Dollar General Store, they hardly ever change, except for seasonal stuff.
The website below you really have to see. I have watched it so many times I lost count. It's so cute. It is the Gervais Family Christmas Dance and it is a must see.

Updates
I know it's been awhile since I last posted. Tabetha called to let me know that I needed to update my blog for you all. Hasn't been much going on. Scott is out of work again. They finished the big house that they were working on. Now What! I HAVE A JOB!!! I'm excited about it. It's only part time, but it's something to do. I am doing COLD CALLS for Tabetha at State Farm Insurance. It's on the south side of Indy.
I had to call Donovan (my brother) to come and check out my van. I wanted to make sure it would get me where I need to go and back home again. He did stop by and just need to get oil change and anti-freeze, OMG the brake fluid was empty. So I will take it to Penske Chevrolet and have the oil changed, anti-freeze put in and brake fluid for stopping is always good to have. I've had my van for 15 years now and it still gets my where I want or need to go. I never put her down. But since Scott is out of work I can use the truck.
Sneakers and Snuggles had to go to the Vet today. They had to get 2 shots, a distemper and rabies shot. They also were spayed. Poor babies. I worried about them all day. Although I did sleep most of the time, so I wouldn't worry about them as much, but didn't work. I knew at around 12:30pm that they were done. I got the phone call around 1:00 saying they were alright and could be picked up after 2. I had to have them there between 7-8 this morning. They aren't suppose to do alot of running around, or play. That has been restricted for a couple days, which is really going to be hard since that is all they do. They play so good together. There hasn't been alot of running around yet tonight though. They have pain medication that I have to give to them in the morning of Wednesday and Thursday. Snuggles doesn't take medication very well. Sneakers hasn't had any problems with it. It's oral stuff, just have to squirt it in their mouths.
I've been shopping online this year. I like it alot. Just pick it out, check out, and it's delivered to your door. I don't even have to leave home to shop, and I really hate to shop. I know and I'm a woman. I just don't like to look for stuff I don't know where it is, or the crowds of people that are standing in your way of viewing an item, screaming babies, and language you don't understand. It all gives me a headache.
No Tabetha was not deprived anything when she was little. What she is interested in now is not what she was interested in then. LOL>

Happy Holidays
It's the start of the Christmas season.
I put our tree up this past weekend, I was bored. Didn't decorate it until the December 1st though. That is my tradition, On December 1st I would start to decorate for Christmas. Well my light went up outside a couple weeks ago, due to we had great weather. I don't turn them on until late and they don't stay on very long. But they are really cute. My house is all done for now I think, unless I see something else I want to do. Lights around my kitchen window with Santa Tins to decorate the top shelf. and my little town with the train and ice skaters. I even put lights with garland around the railing upstairs. I think there is something Christmasy in every room. See everything goes up for Christmas on December 1st and December 26th everything comes back down. I don't like to waste time, and by that time I am ready for a change.

I have this year started early. Scott likes to wait until the last day before Christmas to do his Christmas shopping and it drives me crazy. This year he is almost helping me shop. Been doing alot of online shopping and comparing prices. I have bought a couple things online and if the shipping is good and gets here when they say it will, I might do all my shopping online. Don't have to fight the crowd and you can do it whenever you want. 24/7. The tree is ready for Santa and all the Stockings are hung, waiting to be filled with lots of treats. But the way my kids and grand kids have been acting, LOL. There may be a lump of coal in each stocking.
My two new additions to our family are doing very well. I've had them home now for 2 weeks. They were taking medication, due to a respiratory infection, but they have taken all their medicine and are running around this house like they were born here. I am so glad they like it here. Snuggles is the one in back and Sneakers is in front. You sometimes have to break them apart because one of them is crying. They chase each other all around all the time. At bed time they will follow me upstairs and into bed. They will play for awhile and then settle down. Sneakers likes to attack my feet whenever I move them under the covers. She has clawed my a couple times and it really hurts. Snuggles just crawls up next to ya and purrs really loud. They go next Tuesday to the Vet for spayding. It was in with the adoption cost. They were both sick at the time and had to take their medicine first and then go back to Vet. I just didn't want to be the one to take them to get it done. I don't want them to be made at me for taking them there.
Well until next time, hope all is well, and Happy Holidays...
